Spinning a yarn...

A few weeks ago I found myself wearing bleach-stained pink flamingo pajamas while camped out in front of the TV, with my cat,  watching American Idol, eating dry cereal straight from the box.  I asked myself, "Self... could you be any more of a loser?"  And self answered with, "you could be crocheting."

And since I always strive to be the best (at being a loser), I spent the next week on You Tube watching countless videos in an effort to teach myself how to crochet.   My winter wardrobe is now chock full o' scarfs so I need something else to crochet.

I know!

Clearly I was a fashion plate.  Miss Popularity (with the lunch ladies).  Every boy wanted to be with me, every girl wanted to be me.  I'm sure this skin tight sweater vest, layered over a polyester blouse, is what propelled me to the top of the 4th grade social ladder.  Surely, I was the envy of all when I wore this vest.  Even more so when I paired it with my white patent leather knee-high boots (from a distance, I looked as though there were casts on both legs).

Well... I better finish this blog post up.  It is Tuesday night, after all.  Idol will be starting shortly and I need to make a decision.  Fruity Pebbles or Captain Crunch.

If you are a "loser" then you're the most talented one I know! Is it the Fruity Pebbles?...adding those to my grocery list!

Well, I hope you chose Fruity Pebbles...though they're a bit harder to eat with your fingers. ;)

Love the page!
